Final effluent may be reaerated to increase the dissolved oxygen content of the
treated flow before it enters Cayadutta Creek. Reaeration can be
accomplished by cascading the treated flow over the stepped outfall or
by bubbling air into the treated flow in the post-aeration tanks.
